“This is a public health emergency like none of us have seen in our lifetime,” said Luria. “It’s gonna take some personal sacrifice and hardship on everyone’s part to prevent the increase of spread to make sure our community is safe from this.” Luria said some coronavirus test kits came in to local hospitals over the weekend, and with more kits scheduled to arrive this week, she believes Hampton Roads has enough tests to meet demand.
