VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Congresswoman Elaine Luria’s re-election campaign announced the launch of their third television ad this week entitled “Blue Water.”
Highlighting Congresswoman Luria’s commitment to veterans, the newest ad tells the story of Blue Water Navy Veterans— Vietnam Era Navy veterans who were previously excluded from VA healthcare benefits. As the Chairwoman of the House Veterans Affairs Subcommittee on Disability Assistance and Memorial Affairs, Congresswoman Luria successfully advanced this long overdue legislation to provide these essential VA healthcare benefits for the estimated 52,000 Blue Water Navy Veterans.
