Luria Campaign Responds to Second Attack Ad from Rep. Scott Taylor and his Allies

September 13, 2018

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Today, after Congressman Scott Taylor’s allies at the NRCC launched another negative ad against Elaine Luria, Elaine Luria’s campaign for Congress responded.

“It shows just how worried they are about voters connecting with Elaine’s record of service that Congressman Scott Taylor and his allies have launched two dubious negative ads against her in just 24 hours as the region braces for a hurricane,” said Kathryn Sorenson, Campaign Manager for Elaine Luria. “These ads distort not only Elaine’s vision to make health care more affordable and accessible for Virginia families, but also Scott Taylor’s own record. Scott Taylor has been anything but an independent voice – he votes with his party 98% of the time – and the health care proposals that voters are worried about are Scott Taylor’s votes to gut the health care system and allow insurance companies to charge older Americans and those with pre-existing conditions more for their health insurance.”
